Im pretty sure you got your lights from TheLAshop.com, but, just one question, how much did all that cost, cuz i know the panels are $40min and the ufo's are like $330min, and then i think the fog-lamp like ones are like $40 as well, Im thinking about LED grow room as well, Im just saving my money to get them, lol, buying stuff without a job is a bit of a task

I hear ya man, I'm out on an acl tear right now and disability sux.But the new illuminator(I highly recommend, and can only verify the effectiveness of these units) 349US at prosource.com. IMHO these are the best for flowering.The orange seems to do the trick( flowers maturing in time) but I add white to the mix to that end.So that'll be 2 illuminators and an all red 660nm 90w ufo+ various fixtures.Alot of this is the fun factor for me.This is a very enjoyable way to grow.No more blaring hot yellow light, less worry about plants drying up on you.You just keep nutes at a baseline( a little more experimentation here) and so far no defs.I do add a 1/2 dose of Open Sesame 3 weeks into flowering.Other than that just sit back and watch.Pretty cool.And with 700w in a small room between 2 tents 75 degrees solid with no special ventilation.Thanx for stoppin by. peace

I hope you dont mind, but i got a couple questions, im trying to start a grow (i got a plant goin but only on a single tube) hes still veggin so im not worried right now, but my buds got some plants (not doin so hot) and im tryin to help him while i am growing. ok heres the planned set up:

-2 of the red/blue led panels
-2 14" t5-t8 UV florescents(have a t5 want a bigger one)

the box is 25"W x 21"H x 18"D covered with this stuff

right now it is on its side and only had one plant in it, but im going to be bringing it to my buds house and once the plants start to get closer to flowering we are only going to keep like 3 or 4 and stand it up. how does this all sound to you?

are you taking the equiptment you mentioned with you? If so I'd scrap the panel idea-you'll be disappointed, 2 panels will cost the same as a 660nm red 437nm blue ufo on e-bay.You can get one for 200US or less.The t-5's will compliment this well- try to get a mult-spectrum color temp on the T 5's-5000k,.This should cover you spectrum wise.Do you have any plans to expand at your buddy's house?

if you go to TheLAShop.com - Tattoo Kit - Bicycle Motor - Massage Equipment - Gardening Equipment - Heat Press Machine - Photography Equipment - Aquarium Supplies - & Much More! they have them for 40 bucks a panel, and at calnursey.com they got them for 30 bucks a pop. when we do get them im thinkin about putting the two of them on the top nest to eachother and just have the whole thing lit up, and then when we find our little girls, stand the box upright, place the panels diagonally in the top corners and maybe by that point i can get a ufo or a nice cfl fixture

^^^^^ wow didnt know that link would add so much and also, i forgot one thing, we actually arent tryin to make it too much bigger than 3 or 4 plants, we have both grown acouple times, just cirmustances take them away, so we both set our goals to be able to have 1 bowl pack of our own shit at the end of the season, lol

sounds like a cool little covert op-yeah, that should work, but I'd still add a little fluoro-cfl-T-5, whichever you choose-not much, just enough to get some diffuse light in there- but you'll def need to upgrade once you get to your buddy's place.All in all sounds like fun.But you're gonna have to be willing to invest a little chunk of change in a top o the line ufo.I use, and the only one I can verify, the illuminator 349US.This is the closest to a stand alone ufo, in my opinion, that they have right now.And fcfl isnt a bad option-for like 100 bucks you can set up a kick ass cfl grow.I'd pick the illuminator-but thats just me.
