heres some pics from my 100% led experiment

3oz from 7 just rooted clones- I didnt pack the grow tent(2x2) or I surely would have ended up with at least double that.I used 220w total-illuminator ufo-660nm bulbs- and a couple 45w panels.I'll be starting a thread showing 2 led tents-2x2- with 700 watts led between them. The clones are vegging right now.

Hey Beef74,

You have a very interesting combination of LED's there. I'd loved to hear from you how you wound up choosing them.

Good luck and I look forward to your thread abt 700w of LED's.

Here's a pic of 660watts of LED (going head to head with 1000HPS)
covering about 4'x4'.
Keep it civil please, gentlemen. -StinkyAttic

That looks awesome! (The plants and the setup.)

It's pretty obvious to me that LED's are making big advancements for horticultural purposes, but I'm still probably more intrigued just by the way they look than the way they grow. Again, it's obvious that they work well, but they just look so damn cool! If my setup were like that I'd probably end up sitting around the growroom all day, stoned completely out of my mind, admiring all the pretty colors...

...until totally losing touch with my environment (and reality), and thinking I've been abducted. :abduct:

So far the TI Probloom seems the best bang for the buck in regards to results IMHO. The blend of wavelength has my two girls blooming as quickly and vigoursously as my HPS setup did.

Good luck with your grow!

thank you, I pretty much waited until the 2nd gen/660 nm red boom hit.I keep it red in the flowering tent-660nm-the first go had alot more blue- all that gear has shifted to the veg tent. The ufo was the tri-band illuminator- the bulbs were set into the canopy to basically blast as much red in there as possible-the cree white fixtures were added at week 3 of flower-things took off then.I've expanded my white led arsenal since.I think that the mix of warm and cool white led complete the spectrum nicely. Now in my veg tent I have 2 UFO's 2 45w r/b glow panels 3-13w r/b fixtures 1-15w growspot- in the pics you'll notice that the veg tent is a purplish blue- the flower tent is now all led the 2 plants in the pics were under an hps/led array- the hps has now been taken out of the equation-I'm getting another illuminator-90w tomorrow-and I now believe I have enough power to attain my desired results. So as of tomorrow the flower tent will have-3 ufo's(2 illuminators-1-660nm all red ufo) 1 50w red flower panel- 2 10w red bulbs 4-cree white 12w fixtures- 3 5w red 660nm fixtures.
