What would be an average yield

If I am going with a grow area of 3X4X5 with a 600w Hid air cooled. What could be an average yield off a run.? Could I possibly see 16 Os off a run 20? I know alot really depends on the grower/grow conditions/strains/nutes/Ect. Just looking for like a decent ball park number. Like I know that alot of strains say yield between 350-500g "SOG". Would you yield as much growin plants bigger than flowering, but you have less plants. Guess I got loads more to read up on and to learn just a lil curious while I am reading. Top 2 answers I think that helped me out the most will get sum respect an my gratitude for your time, and you opinion expressed thanx advance:jointsmile::thumbsup:, I have another thread wondering if I should go 4X4 or 4X3 with 6ooW but I will throw this in to.? Thanx once more my fellow smokers 4 ur time again:hippy::rasta:

What would be an average yield

In a 3 x 4 x 8 I was getting 12 t0 16 oz's from 6 plants in a 10 gallon tub with a drip system. The height is what's hurting you. I had a (sea of green) 6 in 6 out each month. My plants were from 2 to 3 feet tall and a 1000 HPS. A month of veg under fluro's after being cloned and rooted.

With 5 feet you have to think about your container and plants and then the light being 18 to 24 inches away. That leaves you 3 feet. You would need to flower at 12 inches or less and end up under 2 feet tall. Depends on the strain.

SOG (sea of green) That means alot more room for mothers and vegging plants ready to go in the system.

I just setup a bro with a 3 x 4 x 8 and 1000HPS with 3 ten gallon tubs. A total of 18 plants. He has vegged for 3 weeks and is in first week of flower. 10 of the plant are about 18 inches that 36 inches when done. Lost 2 so 6 are about 8 to 10 inches. We will see how he does. We are still tuning in just a bit. If all goes well he should get over a pound. Hoping for over 2 pounds. If we have 18 more ready to go he will get that every 2 months. A few like that and that's meds for a couple years for a few cancer peeps we help out.

Once you have your mothers and can clone and have them vegging and ready to go on time, it's like clock work every other month.

Depending on your veg time and technique, topping to bush and so on your yeild could be very good.

Know this it can take 6 months or better to get to the sea of green stage. If you have access to clones from some one and a place to veg then doing 2 things at once makes it faster. Veg while the other finish flower. Go with strains that take 8 weeks to flower. White widow can take 11 from what I here but it's awsome shit.

What system do you have ?

If em helps then keep em, if em no helps then give em back.

Yeah normally figure 2 ounces cured and dried per planet is doing OK. Nothign wrong with it. 3 to 4 ounces per plant on indoor is very good. And of course outdoor the sky is the moon. 2 lbs per plant isn't unreasonable.

Do you or anyone know if the homegrown hydroponic xtreme is more of an advanced system over bc northern lights. I have read that the xtreme system by homegrown has more fans and is cooler running, and with a chiller the yield would be much higher.
