firearms and growing ? ? ? ? ?
Guns and weed don't mix. And in an legal marijuana market there should be no need for guns unless the assholes try to rob them like liquor stores. Guns are for hunting and self defense. Use one offensively criminally and all you get when you get lit up, you deserve.

Yes, they are all registered and legal.
Personally, I would rather get caught with a plant or 2 for personal use, than illegal weapons.....that a can o' worms you *DON"T * want to open up.

I live in North Carolina. When they busted me with a personal grow they looked at my guns, a couple 22's and a single shotgun on the wall rack and said some smart assed remark about taking them. One of the other cops said that since I didn't come to the door with one and they were locked on the rack and they were not in or close to the grow room that they could do nothing about my guns.
What worried them was my sword collection. I have many for show but have a few batlle ready katana's sharp as razors. In close quarters I would rather have the swords. silent and deadly. I don't know the last time I heard of little Billy killing his friend when a sword went off on accident.

I know this post is a bit old, it seems to be built on a lot of speculation. One thing though that I would not speculate about is this; I would rather have my weapons in my home than in a storage unit. In a storage unit your weapon, for which you are legally responsible, is outside of your direct control. In your home it is under your control, at least in principle. Provided that your weapons are secured and, as mentioned before, you don't take them to the door with you when the cops knock, it shouldn't be a big deal in most states. Even so, growing does have inherent risks, and while keeping a weapon on site increases that risk it does so in a way that I control to a certain degree. Keeping a weapon in a storage locker takes that control away and potentially exposes me to additional risks. Storage lockers aren't the most secure places in the world, while many states have laws that increase criminal liability when a gun is present in certain crimes, nearly all states have VERY harsh penalties for gun related criminal negligence.

Asingle shot gun? .you guys are seriously, thinking of giving up your arms for growing, I dont know whats more un American, not wanting to have your right to grow, or giving up your service to bear arms. If it were down to it I would never give up my weapons, cop or no cop, they are also American, I cant believe I just saw this come up.
Guns and weed dont mix? Then why the hell are they both in the bill of rights and the initial starting of this country. Seems to me if they want to change they way this country was founded that marks them as traitors, since going against the Bill of rights and the Constitution is an act of treason.
If you have the means and the power, then doing nothing is treason!
Being an American means more than McDonald's and obesity!
The more you know the more you would be proud to be an American, and see their are people out their in our own organization or government that are treasonous, and that has to be dealt with. If the government does not run its own justly then the people as a state have the right to rise up and correct what has been wronged.
How in the fuk are you gonna right what has been wronged if you dont know what is wrong.
never give up your American duty to bear arms, If you have to ask your self if their is conflict between MMJ and the bill of rights, then maybe some school and a history lesson is in order, or maybe you should not have a firearm of any kind, and again need a lesson in history.
If your answer is a open war against your government then you have already lost. If your answer is to question and get your community to question as well then their is hope. It does not take rocket science to calculate what is going on.

After discussing this with a friend, maybe I came off a little strong or assholeish, but it is something I feel very strong about. If you are not a felon, and are a legal then it is not your privilege it is your right and your duty to learn to use firearms, to be safe with firearms, and to protect your neighbor as he/she protects you. If we dont have each others back, then what do you see happening when the time does arise where you have to bear your rights.
And of coarse what are you gonna protect your family with when the Evil aliens come.........weed?....lolthe cure for cancer is real
