you'd probably get a little more feedback if it was in the grow log section

but i just happened to stumble across this just now... so... heres my opinion!

its rather small for being a month old is the first thing that pops out to me... to give you a bit of an idea, i've attached a pic of one of my plants from my current grow... this plant popped out of the ground 18 days ago, so about 2.5 weeks old

I think I can probably also tell you why its so small... your lighting.

I know this is to be an outdoor grow... but if your starting it inside you need to get some more lights on it, that one CFL won't be enough to keep it from stretching alot.

You should also see if you can get the CFL suspended horizontally directly above the plant about 1-3 inches above the top of it, this will help maximize the effenciency of the light, just be careful it doesn;t get too close and burn the leaves.

do you also happen to know the specs on that CFL? for vegging plants you want to use mostly CFLs with a colour temperature of 6500K, and you also should try and find out the lumen count on the CFL. from the pic, I believe that CFL is a 6500K bulb, or maybe 5100K... but i can't tell.

one other bit of warning... since this is to be an outdoor grow in the long run... this plant actually started pretty early and its probably actually a good thing that it doesn;t have a full month of grow on it.

Of course this somewhat depends on the strain... but because this plant was started so early, it could grow to be absolutely enormous, make sure when you do put it outside for good that its in a very stealthy location!

good luck!
