I was extremely nervous when I did it too, but I did it and everything was fine. It's almost laughable how easy it is to keep the temperature within the 90-100 degree range. I microwaved my bottle, put on two layers of underwear, attached the heading pad (to the side opposite the temp strip) and set off for an hour drive to the facility. When I arrived I waited about 20 mins for my turn, and although I was panicking I knew that the bottle would be at the right temp. I closed the door and poured the urine and it was at 96 degrees. Perfect.

I, too, was very nervous to sub out but you have to take yourself out of the situation. Don't think about what rides on the test, don't think about anything else. I boiled it down to: All I have to do is stand in a locked bathroom and pour liquid from one container to another-- a simple act. Think about it as the simple action that it is, and you will be fine. You WILL be fine.

Just order up some Quick Fix now and practice at home. Once you practice, you will see just how easy it is, and how long the urine can stay at body temperature. I had it in my crotch for ~2 hours at home WITHOUT a head pad, and it was around 94 degrees, which is low, but still passable. Just make small talk with the lab tech and pretend that nothing rides on this piss test.
