^Well, from my personal use, I would tend to agree about heavy, stout indicas.

I just found something from a newer study, not sure how accurate or conclusive, as it may just apply to smokers using for the first time in several days/weeks:

ANd it seems that delta-9-THC, at some dose level or another, while in the presence of CBD, and also to a degree by itself, can shorten the duration of our REM sleep cycles. Unsure of the dose in mg/kg-body-weight.

Delta-8-thc, which is more stable and less psychoactive, but still euphoric, seems to lengthen the duration of REM cycles, making us have 2 or 3 long dreams per night, instead of 4-5 short dreams.

Very interesting, and I think strains highest in delta-8-thc may be best for MMJ patients seeking Cannabis' positive properties, while still needing long periods of REM sleep to maximize tissue repair.
