smoking moldy bud is definitely a no-no, but, like you, I have wondered if it might still be OK for cooking ... I would 'think' the high cooking temps may kill the microorganisms, responsible (but, I'd want that confirmed by a chemist, etc. ... I would ask a local Pharmacist) ... :smokin:
the image reaper Reviewed by the image reaper on . Mouldy buds, can they be used? Hi all, well I just finished harvesting my first grow and have ended up with 4 - 5 ounces. Trouble is about 1/2 an ounce of bud is mouldy. Just wondering if there is anything I can do with it like make hash butter or something. Or should I just junk it (I'd hate to do that).
