I recommend you go with flat white paint, Mylar just sucks ... I used 2-mil. DuPont Mylar (the best, and pretty expensive) ... after a couple grows, the surface was so dulled, and fogged, it wouldn't reflect light worth a damn ... waste of money ... my next cabinet will likely be built, using Home Depot's 'Tileboard' ... it's a 4' x 8' sheet, about 1/8" thick, that has a waterproof, white porcelain-like finish on one side ... it's used for bathroom/shower walls, etc., and for making 'dry-erase marker boards' ... only costs about $9 a sheet, too ...

I have a shed where I am going to build a grow box. The question I have is.. If you look at the picture below, will there be a problem with I use that wall with the support beams and Mylar? Should I tack up a flat board first so the Mylar is flat? or just wrap it around the support beams? If I do that will that cause a problem with heat spots? Any help would be much appreciated and when I get this going I will be doing Rating: 5
