Question regarding Mylar and uneven surface
yes if using Mylar you would need a flat surface to put it up on but as DP pointed out you wont have the heat issue with paint. I am using a roof coating made by Koolseal. It has 95% reflectivity and when dry has a moisture barrier to fight against mold and such which is great for me as I do Hydro. Can be purchased at home improvment stores and runs about $20 a gal but 1 gal goes a long ways.
tinytoon Reviewed by tinytoon on . Question regarding Mylar and uneven surface I am a medical user and attempting to grow my own for the first time. I have a shed where I am going to build a grow box. The question I have is.. If you look at the picture below, will there be a problem with I use that wall with the support beams and Mylar? Should I tack up a flat board first so the Mylar is flat? or just wrap it around the support beams? If I do that will that cause a problem with heat spots? Any help would be much appreciated and when I get this going I will be doing Rating: 5If you have something productive to say by all means speak up, if not then please close the hole under your nose.
