Very sentimentally baked--a lot of love
The following may and probably will sound corny due to the sheer degree to which I'm currently high, but I don't care and it has to be said:
Are you ever struck by just how beautiful everything truly is? We have our cliched ideals of beauty that are of course very lovely, but just the fact that I'm typing this right now and that it will be read by a bunch of beautiful human beings who know love and hatred and longing and the fear of death and joy and all the rest of it, is just sublime beyond words. Oftentimes when I'm very high I'm struck by how words, as much as I truly love them, are totally inadequate for what anyone's really trying to express--it's just the best system we have, and in a way keeps the mystery of things, since nothing can ever be conveyed as it truly is, just insofar as the symbols we use.
All of us here have felt the sublimity of the herb, or we wouldn't care enough to join a cannabis website. Any disagreements on politics or any other of the bullshit that really just takes away from life, they don't matter--we all share that, and even deeper than that, humanity. I spend all too much time brooding on man's idiocies and shortcomings, but there's such a heart-wrenching ocean of good along with it, that even overpowers. I really feel that it's all somehow alright: even if we all die, who's to say that won't be some kind of release? Man, we all need to just let down the huge walls around our hearts for five minutes and just FEEL the energy of what and who is around us. George Carlin said in every cynic's heart is a disappointed idealist, and this rang so true to me when I heard this. Feelings are so taboo now...literary critics will even rip to shreads anything they consider "sentimental." POUR YOUR HEARTS OUT, POETS, AND FUCK THE ANTI-SENTIMENTALIST STIGMA!
So if you think I'm some kind of nut for this (as is likely), just remember what my consciousness encompasses, and what yours does, and everybody's.overgrowthegovt Reviewed by overgrowthegovt on . It has been a very long time since the last time i felt this way while high...
Tolerance, maybe? Or just lack of good weed...
Anyway i have to agree that when our hearts are immersed in love the world seems SO different...

Its a shame the masses cannot see the illusion of our monetary system, that causes all the worlds problems. It sucks we are stuck in this dirty little cycle where allot of people cannot see what you see!

Man... yesterday, after who knows how long, i finally felt again the way you described... i got high and took a bus (my city is beautiful so a bus ride is a very nice way to enjoy a high)... and i think i hit a stronger part of my stash because i got higher than usual... at some moment this happy feeling struck me and i couldnt help smiling uncontrolably... at that moments the world was indeed the most wonderful thing that existed... i smiled to everybody (and almost everything also) i did see... everything was just peace and love... i dont know why but i felt like if i were a very small child again, seeing everything as a novelty, and so everything was wonderful... man... it was a nice trippy ride... and surely a very good way to enjoy 4/20...

I feel the same way when I'm pulling out of my driveway, the air's warm and fresh, blue skies all around, and my dog sitting beside me... It's so free.
Why, just today I spent a good 7 minutes examining the texture of the bark of a maple tree, and watching small ants climb relentlessly to the top! Why are they going up there? Do they know how small they are?
Ah, nature! Always puts on a great show
