Alright so only the few remaining indica landrace have considerable amounts of CBd up to 50%. THCfarmer « Cultivation « The Breeders Lab .is their a way to concentrate the miniscule amouns of cbd for pain control. A little goes a long way so strains high in CBD would be help ful as well

Which thread at THC Farmer are you taking this from? Although there are only a handfull of posts in the section, I'm not going to spend an hour looking for the reference, lol.
I take it you've watched this:
YouTube - THC, UVB and Me
If I remember correctly, he talks abvout CBN, CBD and THC ratios, as it pertains to cannabis' psychotropic effects. But other than watching your trichome maturity...I'm not sue if there's a CBD 'growth suppliment' to promote couchlock. (sedative/pain relief effects)

Hmmm. One of the reasons I quit returning to THCFarmer, was the 'mob mentality' of the newbies. (well, that...and I don't play well with kids) One thinks he's got a great new idea, and the rest follow the misinformation like lemmings.

Kinda strange. I just read a few of the posts, and those newbies are attempting to find the strain with the highest concentration of what's thought of as a THC inhibitor (CBD) and nobody is pointing this out...? They're taking all that time and expense to grow cannabis, yet they are searching for a crappier/lesser result when smoked...? Why?

The only magic bullet for achieving cannabis quality...is knowledge. Knowledge of growing, breeding, trichome maturity. Try not to get caught-up in ethereal or whacko theories, or your education could be set back to stone-age extremes.

Wow I always wondered about this, has any one tried using these uv-b lights? Sounds like a viable theory, wish I could grow to try this.

I get my UVB rays...from my Ceramic Metal Halide (conversion) bulb........ Comes in 250 or 400 watts sizes; but, it ONLY works in 250/400 HPS magnetic ballasts....unfortunately.

Personally, I like the flexibility (schedule and distance) of having a compact fluorescent UV bulb. Use proper precautions, and limit exposure if you plan on trying them, though. It also emits the more harmful UVA light, so best to turn it off when you are in the room, and be careful of pet exposure. (unless your pet is a bearded dragon) Eye and skin damage are a strong probability if not being extremely diligent.

Having said that...I get my UVB here:

I had a few quwstions on breeding and onn UV*
    1. If I receieve a cross between two strains that at unknown if stablized progeny shoud I stablize to a solid P1 with fixed traits or just continue as if they were stable and include them in a brededing project
2.Does Uv influance the seed production
3.Could uv be used the create mutations
Rusty could you recommend some other good sites other than here or icmag with especially breeding traffic
