A FEW SOIL questions anyone please!!

if a certain strain takes 56 days to bloom in hydro will it take the same amount with soil once flowering is induced?

I want to plant them in 4" pots for a few weeks then put them in 1gal pots until about week 2 bloom then put them in 3gal pots for the final 6 weeks of there life(read stinkys thread on moving to bigger pots).. does that all sound right? please help anyone listening??

im trying to convert over to soil and i want to make sure i know what to get before i begin ..

also.. ive been havig great success with an ezcloner .. can i still use it and just stick them in the 4" pots with soil to start?? any tips on doing so would be helpful

Just put them directly into 3 gallon pots will work fine. I would use a B1 mix with the water when you first plant them to help stop the stress.

Are you talking about putting clones directly into a 3 gallon pot??? Not a good idea...better to re-pot at least once or twice... (I'm not saying it can't be done, but could lead to problems) http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-gro...ency-baby.html

OP you have the right idea. Depending on veg time and flowering time, and also whether you are growing from seed or not will depend on your pot size. 3 gallon pots should be good if you are using clones, I'd move up to 4-5 gal if it's from seed.

Sorry don't know anything about the ezcloner. :jointsmile:

I have a home made cloner, and I put them in soil right out of the cloner. Just make sure you have good root growth before you move them to soil
