this is the nail in the coffin of american democracy if the republicans vote to repeal the right of the opposition party to filibuster. there will be no resourse for any oppositon since republicans control all 3 branches of goverment, there will be no way for the minority party to represent their constituates, to protect their interests, and challenge the majority. this country is founded on the ideals to protect its minorities, this will be a defacto dictatorship.
