its to late i already pulled them i put 4 more seeds in a paper towel. before i germinate them in a paper towel but i put them in rock wool. this time im just going to put them in the soil directly after geminating them instead of rockwool. and also when i put them in the pots after germinating do i put the light on the soil in the growroom or leave it dark?

I believe you meant to say " 1-2 mm ", (mm, not cm)

You are correct, sir... I did mean to say "mm."

Good points, though... taproots are extremely sensitive, so it's best not to leave them exposed to anything (other than soil) for too terribly long.

You can leave the light off until they emerge, unless it's getting too cold without the light. Just keep the soil moist, but not wet. You could use some vermiculite also, which makes the soil more airy and retains moisture well. Just have to be careful watering them. Spraying might be better so the seed doesn't move around too much.

But for the light, use the hand method. If it's too hot for your hand it's too hot for the plants. The young ones are more sensitive, so keep it a little higher at first and gradually lower it.

it's pretty much personal preference. i keep mine on 18/6.
i've read that plants under 24/0 grow 25% faster, although i have no scientific research to back this up. just what i've read (in an actual book).
divestoned (from these forums) said he has done the research and that he didn't see the 25% increase.
hope this helps.
