    Too Big and Bushy

    Is trimming the bottom trunk a good idea to keep the top part healthier. those little scraggly bushies in da bottom part are never that great. maybe at the early stage of flowering trimming is best? theyre bout to reach the top of the roof. any suggestions?:thumbsup:

    Trimming is aways best in veg. Yes many peeps trim the bottom lug branches to make the tops better. The lugs or suckers can use energy that could be going to the cola.

    I alway's remove the weak lil lower's that will never reach the canopy,It' suck's trying to manicure them anyway.

    Pruning is excellent. In fact I have a good thread about it with pictures. But if you plants are already going to hit the roof, then pruning them is only going to push them to grow further upward, unless they have finished their growth stage.
