BP, your pics really show a difference between the soil and the hydro. It's really hard to disagree that hydro is more effective than soil when looking at your side by side blueberry comparison. Your hydro blueberry is really smokin'! Don't get me wrong - all of your plants look great, but that blueberry differential is really making me lean toward hydro.

Dang fine work on these beauties!

-I agree that the hydro gives the bud much more to look at. I thought hydro was not going to be a good idea for my first grow because of many problems i have witnessed on the website.
-But it has proven to be pretty forgiving as long as i keep the roots wet.
-A couple weeks ago i burnt the hydro on accident with a overdose of tiger bloom but within a few days with a few flushes 95% of the leaves recovered.
-I don't think i will do very much soil in the future after witnessing the power of hydro in my first grow. :smokin:

Nice plants  Doing very well for your first grow. Keep doing what you're doing and you should get your great harvest

edit: Wow, didn't even notice that was an emily's garden. Used to grow lettuce in one when I worked at a hydro store, never thought it'd be that great for growing weed. I stand corrected

Bad news over the weekend unfortunately. Light leaks and nutrient stress has caused all of my hydro plants to hermie. Due to this i am having my first case of growers depression...Sucks for sure. In other news, I have built a light tight flowering box to make sure this problem rarely happens again. All i can say is lesson learned the hard way. And if ur reading this please make sure you do not make the same mistake..It is a hard pill to swallow.

Sorry to hear about your problem. A buddy of mine harvested his early yesterday because it hermied on him due to clipping samples through flowering (he's an impatient bastard). It does suck considering he probably could have gone at least another month! :wtf: Oh well live and learn I suppose! The rest look good though!:thumbsup:

Did your friend harvest early to prevent seeds from growing? I feel like i would rather have seedless premature bud then seedy pollen buds. Dose anyone think i should harvest sooner than when its done because its growing seeds in some spots??:stoned:
