Okay so the MG will work but will it feed my plant for 3 months like it says on the bag or at some point in the grow cycle alter it with another fertilizer.

Um, you are talking about timed release fertilizer.

That's my only beef with MG.

If used properly, yes, it will feed for 3 months.
That's where folks generate bad press for MG.
They try to "alter it with another fertilizer".

Bad idea!
If you use MG. Trust it.
Trying to alter is ill advised.
If you want full "nute control" it's best to start with a neutral medium.:twocents:
