heating up QF

The instructions say it will heat to 90-100 in an hour with the heating pad alone. I've been practicing and it did not do this for me. Once I nuked it for 7 seconds and put the pad on it it was at 100, then dropped to 98 (according to the strip on the bottle). It's been about 30 mins under my balls and still at 98 but I'm gonna hang with it for another hour and a half to make sure. Anyone use just the heating pad without nuking or is it advisable to do a few seconds of nuking before the heating pad (seems to be working better for me...). Thanks for any input, I really just want to get this right.

I swear I have a little less QF now after all this heating which kind of sucks since they supposedly ask for more than 2 oz. No more heating practice I guess...

I always practice with water. Stash the real stuff for the actual deed.

Nuke it first. Some people can go without the heating pad, but if you practice enough, you'll know whether you need it.

Sometimes people don't have the option for the microwave (surprise random) and thats when I hear about the heating pads becoming useful if you have an hour or so before your test. I would still immerse the bottle in some hot liquid (like coffee) before applying the heating pad if I had the chance.

I had bought two boxes of QF for my test, cos I was worried about the 2oz being enough. I bought a 3oz travel shampoo bottle and filled it. I came back with over half, so it only took me 1.5 oz to fill my sample cup to the line. I know places differ, but thats my experience.

I have use just the heating pad the last two times I used qf and it worked fine. Both times I left the interview hired and with the drug test papers and drove a block away and put the heat pad on the bottle and tucked it away in my fruit of the looms then drove toward the testing site and about a block away I would pull over and check the temp and all was fine. About 45 minutes total. I did have 24 hours to take the test but I'm a little impatient and would want to get it over with. It wouldn't hurt to nuke it if you can. Good luck...:thumbsup:

Awesome, that makes me feel a little more at ease. I think I only lost a very small amount but I'm freaking out about every little thing. Got two pairs of underwear stiched together with a pocket inside and everything. Test should be in a couple days I think. I'll post my experience afterwards.

I just nuke it for 10 seconds and then store it in my crotch. Been able to keep it at 98 for about 2 hours. If it gets a little low. Pour the urine in the cup and rub your thumb against your clothes for a few seconds then hold your thumb against the temp strip. Get it to 98 and step out of the room.
