Those are the growers you want to avoid taking advice from. Old wives tales can cripple a cannabis plant.
Everything you remove, the plant will need replaced. All the stored sugars and carbs, the nutes, micros and metals...all goes away with one snip of the scissors. This means that although you are getting light to the budsite...it is being starved because you stole it's dinner.

Leave them alone, and they'll come home...wagging their buds behind them.
Rusty Trichome Reviewed by Rusty Trichome on . Two Questions - Two Subjects First Question, I've got one MindBinder and it doing pretty well. It's about one week into flower and it's definitely a girl (pistils everywhere). I was wanting to do a little cropping, but the two leaves I want to eliminate are the two top fan leaves. Reason being, I could get much nicer buds if the light could get to the bud sites better, which are hidden under these two leaves. Since I still have 4 other sets of large fan leaves below this first level, would it be safe to crop these two Rating: 5
