    quick question

How much would y'all guess a quart mason jar of dried, cured, not packed too tightly...product weighs ???

I know that it depends on the strain, the density ect. ect. ect. But I need the abililty to guestimate before a scale can be obtained.

    Thanks

    quick question

Do we get a prize if we guess correctly?

Hard to say, best way to guess is to put them into clear sandwich bags. If you have seen what an ounce looks like in a sandwich bag, then estimate that way...

    quick question

I know people who keep ounces in quart mason jars and it is a perfect fit. So basically I would say it is somewhere around an ounce.

Dutch I think you ment 30-50 grams which is about 1 - 1 2/3 oz and that should make you todays winner on who wants to be a marijuanaaire! That is how I store it, remember the days when a bag was by fingers 4 = oz gosh I miss the good old days!

Try justifying an oz nowadays with the 4 finger method, you'll probably get the 1 finger salute :S4:

LOL... but it actually sounds about right. Does that mean that quarters were 1 finger, half oz. two, etc.? I'd find the fattest dealer, and stick with him

An ounce was the smallest measurement, back in the old days.

    quick question

When I got a scale the five jars were all about an ounce plus a quarter, about 35 grams +/- 3 grams

PS...I'm old too...just new-ish to this process. Amazing how much more time and effort to this then I'd ever dreamed. Now not feeling so badly of ever paying $400 de Z for much loved, well trimmed nugs.

Still, recently harvested "Big Buddah Cheese" and "The Church"...best herb I've had since harvest visit to Humbolt County in 1998. Plus the warm-fuzzy-feeling of accomplishment !
