Should I purchase a VaporGenie?

Reliable?.....yes

Work in a years time?......yes

Does the filter ever die?.........no, as long as you don't get soot on it, but even if you do, you can either wash it out or torch-flame it out.

Does it vape all the compounds that you get from smoking?.....Most all of it, depending on the temp.

Is it as effective as other commercial vapes if used properly?...yes, but it won't taste quite as good as a non-butane vape.

the only complaint is sooting up the filter. but using a calibri-type lighter seemed to reduce this problem.

and if you get the filter clogged, you can still use it as a pipe.

I've had mine for almost 2 years. i don't use it daily anymore as I ingest more now, and have a bamboo pipe I love, but I still use it often.

It might even be my main pipe once I start again. However, I have a few questions. First of all, is it reliable/durable? Can I expect it to work in a year's time? Does the filter ever die (their site says it never needs replacing)? Does it actually vaporize all of the active compounds you normally get out of smoking?
