They didn't get banned, they broke the rules. Don't make it sound like it was something passive, they broke the rules and they would still be here if they didn't.

i know if someone is banned there is a good reason, the mods here do great jobs and you are all very nice, and back when i used to be active here i would have even considered myself friends with you guys, yes, that includes you.

This is really the only question you need to respond to and you'll find out why. We tried many times to adjust people's ban dates to reflect their 18th birthday but this wasn't always possible. If you want to have your old handle back, let me know.

Now I am going to respond to a few of the things you said but don't go down the road of posting about this for a 3rd time. Normally we don't respond to posts about member's infractions and how long a ban might be because it usually gets other members into pointless arguments with the mods or other members and it drags them , the member questioning another member's infraction, down too. However, in the case of the ones mentioned and about 2 others, I don't mind and I think some of the member's appreciate knowing what happened to them. I have talked about some of these members before in a couple of threads and when the basement dweller got on his friend's computer and started to post under a new name about how he was treated unfairly I addressed his actions and infractions and why he was banned. From comments by other members they were glad to be informed on why they aren't allowed on the board but didn't want to rehash the past. Many have also indicated they don't miss these members especially once they found out what happened. What we aren't going to do is go back and forth and make this a fucking mess for you and get you or anyone else caught in it.

I'm not angry as much as annoyed because this is such a waste of time. I wouldn't even bother but I see someone who is somewhat naive, like I used to be many years ago and maybe you can learn something from this. For starters, you can learn a little about the human ego and needy people and never trust an addict in the case of the basement dweller. I'm not calling marijuana users addicts either. He's a phrase that will serve you well later in life. How can you tell an addict is lying? Their lips are moving.

How can you say you didn't blame the mods directly. Who else were you talking about when you said they did a big sweep and banned a lot of people. Who else could they be? Yeah you might not have wrote the word mods but who else could you have been talking about. Don't answer and don't say the admins because I'm not stupid. Then you said you would love to sit here and complain? How many times have we said we don't want to here complaints, bitching, moaning, whining, etc. Constructive criticism and suggestions are useful but not sitting around complaining. For one, the mods don't set policy. Here, look at what you said:

You did complain some and you also said I would love to sit and complain. That's non constructive bitching in my book. There are plenty of constructive threads in the feedback section if you need to see examples of constructive. Look at the one suggesting a DIY section. That's constructive. Server Busy thread is constructive too.

So someone starts a thread about what happened and you include a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with what happened specifically the complaining and whining. You could have said the boards are now 18 and over and focus has shifted to medical marijuana use and less of a social board and they moved the lounge. Again, I'm not stupid and it's like you're trying to stick a little stab in there, 1 & 1/2 years after the changes. If you do think we do a good job and the infractions are fair and justified, then why bring up the banned members anyway?

Again, we gave these guys more than enough chances to follow the rules and they decided to be selfish and feel that everyone else should play by the rules but themselves. Is that fair to those who do follow the rules?

If you really do miss their posts, I can see where you are coming from as some of those banned members were good at attracted the younger members and dazzling them with their bullshit. Seriously, one of them only talked about zombies and posted wikipedia links because he had no original thoughts as well as holding daily pity parties for himself, the other one constantly took shots at Americans and American weed and making marijuana users look like violent assholes. I guess that's enjoyable for about 5 minutes. : You'll learn better judgement and if you do miss them, no one wants to hear it and you sitting around complaining about it or how you would love to complain.

No I don't hate you nor do I hold it against you if you stop now because I hope you learned something. I hope you learned the mess you started with either your stab at how we banned people or your poorly chosen words. I hope you learned that members don't always have all the information about what goes on around here like the mods do. I hope you have learned about addition through subtraction. I hope you see that this community isn't static but dynamic and as some people go, some people come and things work out. I hope you see many of the things that I haven't pointed out.

Skink hasn't been on in forever. Stilll in good stand though. StinkyAttic is working in an area with no internet, LOL. No, she's just that busy with work.

Rebgirl has been busy with school the last time I talked to her. She was in our Fantasy Football league and I haven't talked to her since near the end of that. She must be really busy though because she usually finds her way to a computer. One minute she was studying to be a teacher the next a dental assistant or vice versa.

You need to get your shit straight because you have this smell of a troll to me with only one other post besides this one. We didn't didn't do a "big sweep." You make it sound like a multi law enforcement agency task force conducted some operation to arrest a bunch of people. This is a free website and shortly after Sundance bought the site he decided to go 18 and up because he didn't like the amount of immature threads on the board for several reasons. The mods don't make the rules we just enforce them.

Trust me, many of the people who were under 18 were good mature posters but we couldn't pick and choose who stayed and who was suspended. It wasn't easy for them, for the mods, for the other members but look the site survived (shocking to believe isn't it ) and as they turned 18, they returned.

I like how you think lip was cool. While that poster joined before I did, he didn't have much time on some of the other moderators. One of them told me this little tidbit about that arrogant fool. Did you know that when that poster first joined he posted pics of a rather nice grow room/operation that wasn't even his. In his attempts to look much cooler than he was, he found some pics on the web and tried to pass them off as his. I don't know if it was a mod or member but someone figured it out quick. All the chest beating he did saying he was the biggest smoker and how he grew or got the best weed and how American weed is shitty and overpriced, he first tried to sell his bullshit stories and life with fake pics.

Another thing that poser did to over compensate for his pathetic life was to constantly threaten members on here. Com one most of the members here are from the U.S. and you're in England. Of course he will never probably get a chance to meet anyone on the baseball field after school to settle it so why constantly threaten people that don't agree with your low brow ideas? Because he probably used this site to form some alter identity of someone who was cool that didn't get their ass kicked in order to protect his fragile ego. I wouldn't be surprised if lip didn't receive weekly ass whipping for the first 25 years of his life.

These threats of violence are what led to his banishment from this site. He threatened every male moderator on this site with emails like "I'm going to fly to America and stick a knife in you but I don't want to set foot on American soil." Please you jabroni monkey ass, you probably can't afford to fly to America and if you're so tough and cool, why are you going to have to use a knife? Dumbass, I love to fight and I never lose so just bring it, don't just say it. He had a shitload of infractions for threatening people and after breaking the rules AGAIN he was issued a warning. He had a long long list of infracions. He then made a post saying he was never coming back and go ahead and ban him so we did. Guess how many times he's tried to come back into the website since saying he was never coming back? A shit ton.

That poster then went to another forum and bitched about how he was treated unfairly here. He lasted about 100 posts before they banned him forever too. What does that tell you about him?

When Billionfold turned 18 he came back and kept getting into fight with Psycho4Bud and as volunteers we're not going to put up with that shit. He threatened to do things to try to get Psycho arrested too. I guess you want someone you can't trust that wants to go running to the cops on this website don't you?

Cannabis Campbell is in good standing. He used to post all the time but about a year ago he said he would be going without internet for a little while and he wouldn't be on as much. It has gone on a lot longer than just a little while but CC is still kickin it.

People weren't happy with some of the changes that happened almost 2 years ago (time to get over it) but they weren't banned for posting about it. We gave people a lot of leeway on that. However, if people can't follow the rules, that's on them. Alot has changed but this board is privately owned and that means Im a guest in their house so what they say goes. I don't mind the changes even though I don't visit or post very often but its not because of the changes it more to do with my personal life.

Besides if we want to get marijuana legalized medicinally and even recreational its important that we represent ourselves in a positive light to the public. We dont want to show them the stereotypes that the government has shoved down everyones throat and thats what some of the old posts did. Threads like OMG I got so high last night and (fill in the blank) wont get us very far.
