It was extremely unsafe after the towers fell with numerous fires, poisons in the air, the dead and wounded, people in shock, other dangerous conditions, etc. We did not need untrained volunteers because many experienced firefighters, cops, EMT workers, and more were coming in by the busload. It would have presented more liabilities and slowed their work down if they had allowed what you suggest.

how many firefighters and cops were there to start? the first reports were upwards of 10,000 dead. i'm pretty sure they would have taken volunteers, trained or not.

The city told people to stay away. We had thosands of volunteer PROFESSIONALS coming in from the Tri-State area, and beyond.

I did my part by going back to work in the financial district when the offices reopened the following week. We had to deal every day with airborne chemicals from Ground Zero, and with bomb and anthrax threats to our workplaces. This was not a walk in the park, for anybody in NYC at the time.

i understand. i have no idea how this affected new yorkers. like i said, i was not knocking you personally. just getting into a good debate. i see your point of view. can't say mine would have been the same, but that's me.

trust me i know all about bomb scares and anthrax (although i have had all 6 shots in the series to make you "immune" to anthrax. what's better is that congress discontinued the shots for more testing after i already had all 6. awesome!)

I'm sure that you would have tried to volunteer on 9/11, but I doubt that you would have gotten past the police barricades that were set up because random people, regardless of qualifications, were not being considered - the ones who got in were with departments associated with disaster management, medical, police and fire personnel, etc. This was the biggest emergency in the history of the United States. Even Israelis have said that they've never had anything even close to an attack or event of that magnitude

Just for the sake of argument, I never mentioned Jones, I just posted the article. Two, since these scientist have presented photographic evidence to support their theory based upon evidence from the scene. You said you were there. How can you prove that to all that you were actually there? Do you have a photograph? What supporting evidence do you have and can provide to support your assertion?

Not being critical or calling you a liar, just using the scientific method to validate your claims of being there on 911. Did you save any dust that had to have collected on you. Did you breath any dust in? Just a few questions that need to be answered to support your hypothisis of first hand participation.

And I smoked the bowl to relieve my pain. Physical in my arthritis, and mental to know that my country produces such scum that would carry out such a crime on its own citizens. I now wonder why there is such a frantic move to abolish the death penalty. These type of individual are afraid of death, but so willingly visit it upon others for financial gain. To hang by their necks is only fitting because we have become too civilized (sic) to draw and quarter them too and place parts of their bodies to rot in the east, west, north and south. That would not be cruel and unusual punishment in this case.

My friend, you are living in you own little world, and I'm sorry to say that nothing I could do would convince you that you're wrong. Your "scientist" is a complete crackpot, and I've posted enough evidence for that to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. If you choose to take him seriously, after seeing the proof, then it's beyond my capability to sway you.

I used to work in the WTC, and a few years after that I was across the street from the it when they bombed it, on February 26, 1993. We knew that they wanted to topple it then, and they eventually found a way to do accomplish this.

I did not breath much dust on 9/11 becuase I left before the buildings collapsed. In the weeks and months following, all of us down there breathed in dusty air from the scene, no doubt containing the atomized remains of victims.

Hopefully a moderator will do as I suggest, and move the topic into the Conspiracy forum, where it belongs.

Here's some photos taken by a friend a week or two after the attacks, from a nearby building in the complex. Many buildings in the area, even some blocks away, were no longer capable of being used.

I realize its difficult to accept the truth by some. I'm no crack pot, nor are the others that feel the same. It will be proved. I don't care what they do with the thread. I didn't turn it into a pissing contest. I believe Jones, et al regardless what you may believe. And I think this discussion is valid in light of all our government professes to be the truth. End of my comments on this.

Alex Jones and others may not the most trustworthy source of information, but neither is the U.S. Government for that matter  If there is one thing I learned from living in the States, it's "Live long, trust no one."
