I agree that conspiracy theorists make up a lot of shit. I would not dismiss that the overall point of these theories is true. Whenever there is a situation in which the general public is being lied to, there will be a lot of sketchy details. IMHO those towers were not destroyed without the U.S. government knowing about, however like any conspiracy theory a lot of shit gets made up to fill in the gaps of what we do not yet know.
BigLeagueJew Reviewed by BigLeagueJew on . Super-Thermite Do you think Dick Cheney will say so.....or shit happens? Scientists find active 'super-thermite' in WTC dust Joe Byrne Published: Saturday April 4, 2009 A team of nine scientists have released a startling new report on the events of 9/11, using data from dust gathered in the days and weeks after the towers came down. They discovered that scattered throughout the dust samples were red and gray chips of 'active thermitic material', or an un-reacted pyrotechnic explosive. Thermite is Rating: 5

I've heard mixed things about the explosions, but you guys haven't talked about the WTC 7 building yet... no planes hit it, but it fell down from fires started by debris and the collapse of the 2nd tower??? So the 2nd WTC building falls down as it's designed to do so, and WTC 7 falls subsequently, was that designed for also? Sounds fishy to me, or maybe just piss-poor architecture. :wtf:

Alex Jones and others may not the most trustworthy source of information, but neither is the U.S. Government for that matter  If there is one thing I learned from living in the States, it's "Live long, trust no one."

It isnt indeed... melting the kind of steel that is used in such buildings requires a LOT of heat (usually only reached at mettalurgic ovens) for a very long time... no gas flames (and much less an "usual" fire) would sustain this kind of heating for the amount of time needed to even soften the (usually huge) steel bars of the building.

I think its exactly because of this... people from other cities (and even from other countries) did suffer much less than people from NY, so they could get a more impartial, rational, and less emotionally- charged picture of it.
One thing is to think "well... just another crazy government using dark means to reach their goals...", and another thing is to think "no, man... it was too horrible... our government just couldnt do this with us! it couldnt! it wouldnt! would?!?"...

Its those who can't believe that elements of the governemtn did this that are in a fantasy world. Any real student of history knows that countries and governments have been betrayed and brought down from within numerous times through history. To believe otherwise is being foolhardy and ignorant. Just look at Dick Cheney's face and his actions and words. He and those he associates with would do it.

So, a "real student of history" must agree with a nut job like Steven E. Jones, who came into this to foster the insanity of his religion and superstitions. It is disconcerting that some naive American kids buy into this, but history shows that there are often lunatic fringes who will believe anything, regardless of evidence to the contrary, as long as it isn't true and lets them feel like they are part of an enlightened group.

besides the towers, what about the pentagon? they say a plane crashed into it? the damage wasn't big enough, there was no damage to the ground where the plane crashed, they didn't dig up any of the ground the contain the jet fuel. i can go on and on.

why did osama bin ladens family have air clearance when no one else did afterwards? better yet, why were they being flown around by the federal govt? 9/11 was an inside job. you can believe what you want.

i was in the USMC when this all happened, stationed in okinawa japan (in the middle of a typhoon). 90% of my unit went to guam in case something went down. but it didn't until later on. can't remember, i EASd in Jan of '02. in Feb of '02 they put a stop-loss on many MOS' , including mine. i lost several friends over there.

the government has been lying to us since the beginning of time. i don't know why this is so hard to realize. wake up people.

like was said in harold and kumar escape guantonimo bay "you don't have to love your government, you only have to love your country."!

it is our job to sort through the bullshit and come to our own conclusions. if you want to be spoon fed then so be it.

and why would you leave the scene instead of staying to help out?!

Sorry but it appears you seem to be obsessed with Mr. Jones to such an extent that you are ready to discount every bit of scientific evidence. I, for one, am only the third person in the world to photograph (SEM) an individual RBC (red blood cell) on an archaeologically recovered stone tool from an actual indigenous butchering site. That site radio carbon dates to 1400 BP +/- a couple hundred years. The photo is in a thesis and I have it on disk. It defies what we are told about survivability, yet there it is. Watch the video, as Confusius said "a picture speaks a thousand words".

The science presented in the report supports the theory of controlled demolition.

And you've been told by the same government that marijuana, aka cannabis, is a dangerous drug that will make you crazy. You decide, I know what I believe and that is elements of our government and corporate businesses, along with others in society attempted to overthrow the constitutional government but failed because the couldn't fool everybody.

Just as the towers were set to comedown as they did, so was the financial market undermined for years to fail as it did. Without breaking everybody it couldn't be done. The boomers have been butt fucked. Those guilty have been stopped, but we still have to suffer both collapses to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we have treasonous scum amongst us. And they will pay the American way, their day is coming ever nearer. You will be amazed of the list of some of Americans most well known were parties to it all.

It wasn't all that long ago that the same interests tried it before and failed on another generation.

Now, I think I will go smoke a nice bowl of Purple Kush and feel secure in my beliefs.

The WTC area, on 9/11, was not a place where untrained personnel were needed, or wanted. Everybody in lower NYC was told to evacuate the buildings and go home. If they had not done this, and people had gone to the scene of the attack, there would have been more havoc and deaths. I would think that you'd know this, having been in the Marines.

i didn't say to go before the towers fell. i meant after the fact. and i'm pretty sure there were tons of untrained people there. i'm not attacking you personally. merely stating my opinion.

You are the one who brought him up, not me!

I don't need to smoke a bowl of anything to know that Steven E. Jones is nuts.
