Scientists find active 'super-thermite' in WTC dust

A team of nine scientists have released a startling new report on the events of 9/11, using data from dust gathered in the days and weeks after the towers came down. They discovered that scattered throughout the dust samples were red and gray chips of 'active thermitic material', or an un-reacted pyrotechnic explosive.

Thermite is used in steel welding, fireworks shows, and hand grenades. It is the combination of a metal powder and a metal oxide which produce a reaction known for extremely high temperatures focused in a very small area for a short period of time. The 'active thermitic material' discovered in the World Trade Center dust was a combination of elemental aluminum and iron oxide, and is a form of thermite known as 'nano-structured super-thermite'.

â??These observations reminded us of nano-thermite fabricated at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and elsewhere; available papers describe this material as an intimate mixture of UFG[Ultra-fine grain] aluminum and iron oxide in nano-thermite composites to form pyrotechnics or explosives. Commercially available thermite behaves as an incendiary when ignited, but when the ingredients are ultra-fine grain and are intimately mixed, this 'nano-thermite' reacts very rapidly, even explosively, and is sometimes referred to as 'super-thermite',â?� the report explains.

Some of the authors of the paper have lost their jobs at universities and chemistry labs for their outspoken breakdown of what happened at the World Trade Center on 9/11. Kevin Ryan lost his job as a lab director after writing a letter to the National Institute for Standards and Technology(NIST was conducting an investigation into 9/11 at the time) challenging the common theory that burning jet fuel weakened the steel supports holding up the 110-story skyscrapers. Ryan claims that the owner of his laboratory subsidiary "was the company that certified the steel components used in the construction of the WTC buildings,â?� according to the South Bend Tribune. Dr. Steven E. Jones, a physicist at Brigham Young University, presented a paper in 2005 discussing alternative theories to the commonly accepted 'jet fuel' reasoning. In September 2006 he was placed on paid administrative leave and his paper was removed from the BYU database.

Jones has told Visibility911.com, "In short, the paper explodes the official story that 'no evidence' exists for explosive/pyrotechnic materials in the WTC buildings."

It remains to be seen if this study will encourage further investigation into the events of 9/11, or if anyone will come forth with a legitimate reason as to why nano-structured super-thermite can be found in dust produced by the collapse of the World Trade Centers

Several years ago, an idea popped into my head: Would people in the New World who also saw Jesus Christ leave memorials of this supernal experience by showing marked hands of Deity in their artwork? So I began a search with the following hypothesis-to be tested: Ancient artwork portraying a deity with deliberate markings on his hands will be found somewhere in the Americas. A crazy idea, maybe - but wait till you see the artwork of the ancient Maya!

haha why would there be explosives and a plane? I believe the U.S. was involved in 911, just my personal opinion but I don't think it involved explosive devices. Super thermite could have been in any number of things. It was a huge building with all sorts of things going on.

Well, conspiracy theory or not, and the Book of Mormon has no relevence in a scientific study, but this video does. I've seen it. And in one of the segments, a floor can be seen exploding just before the debris fall covers it up along with siemic evidence recorded at the same time as the buildings collapse. there were explosives involved and it was a controlled demolition. IMHO. And that's not cannabis dreams either. :jointsmile:

You can't form an accurate opinion based on a video! I was in lower Manhattan on the morning of 9/11, where I worked, a few blocks from the site of the WTC. My office building was evacuated, as were most others, and when I was going home I met an architect on the subway who told me that the towers would collapse, because they were built to go straight down in such an emergency - which is exactly what happened a short time later. Professor Steven E. Jones, in his lecture, mentioned that he got involved in the 9/11 Truth movement after attending a lecture in Orem by Sarah Menet, the author of â??There Is No Death.â?� I was at that same lecture in May 2005. It was very motivational, mostly about preparing for disaster and events prophecied in The Book of Revelations. The lecture was directed towards a majority LDS audience, but was informative and enjoyable for all. Her story is very interesting, and as with the 9/11 Truth Movement, whether or not you believe her experience, itâ??s definitley worth looking into. Professor Jones said his wife dragged him out to this lecture and he didnâ??t know exatly what information would be presented. Near the end of her lecture Sarah talked about the government and corruption and that 9/11 was an inside job. That got Professor Jones wanting to learn more and he did; now he is a valuable asset to the 9/11 Truth Movement.

However, she learned that there are different degrees of seriousness of such actions. She emerged from her experiences with a changed heart, released from the pain and bitterness of abuse and failure and willing to forgive herself and others, something that had completely escaped her before her experience.

Sorry, but those towers were built to withstand that type of plane crash. Explosions. Watch the video and you will see what you missed on the streets of Manhattan. I believe in conspiracy theories like the conspiracy theory against cannabis perpetrated by the government as an act of domestic terrorism. So why wouldn't the scum bags blow up a building or two to further their aimes. even a blind man can see that we've been conned by our own. I don't trust the fucking government period. There was molten metal under the tower's for week's...it was 3 times as hot as jet fuel burn's.I could go on and point out other shit that make's no sense,but we've all seen and heard it already.
The simple truth is that what happened that day, cannot be explained by a plane collision.hell a building that wasnt even hit by a plane fell like a professional demo.We cant believe the fire in that building was hot enough to melt steel,it's never happened before or since.

Planes were not as big in the 1960's as they were by the 21st century. I've watched most all the 9/11 videos, and there's little more to see. If it was impossible, as you believe, then how could that man who I talked to on 9/11 have known that the buildings would pancake down, unless he was part of the conspiracy, in which case he would have kept his mouth shut? Ever notice that the overwhelming majority of these conspiracy people are from places other than New York City, where it happened: NYC, where 3,000 lives were lost as well as countless injuries, mental trauma and PTSD, job losses, and other economic problems were concentrated? If there was any chance in hell that these theories were true, New York City would be leading the pack to get justice. Instead, there's a pathetic little parade once in a while led by Alex Jones and his little band of disciples, most of whom are misinformed, disillusioned middle-class kids from far outside of New York City. But, they know better then we do. They're smarter. Yeah, right. I continued working in lower NYC for 5 more years after 9/11, and did not meet a single person who thought that anything but the planes brought down those buildings.

The 9/11 truthers are living in a fantasy world, as evidenced by their unyielding support for Steven Jones, and many other examples of erroneous research and belief systems that they've adopted. When, or if, they ever grow up they'll realize the folly they've been on.
