Results if I force a male to hermie for seeds
no, this will not work. a male can't produce buds and/or seeds. the reason this happens in nature, is because a female plant becomes streesed, due to one or several of many factors that may stress a plant.
once this female stresses, she produces what are known as "nanners". these are not the same as the male pollen sacks. they look like little bannanas, hence the name. the reason this happens is so the plant can pollinate itself and continue the species. that is the reason that all of the seeds that come from a hermie are female, because they contain only female DNA.
there are different ways to do this in captive breeding, some using chemicals, asprin, light, food, etc.
