Starting outdoors but finishing inside?
if you let them get 3 ft tall outside (they will or won't have started budding depending on time of year) then you are gonna need more than some CFLs to finish them. CFLs will not get much penetration. you can combat this by strategically placing CFLs everywhere. top, bottom, sides etc.
or you could just start them later in the season and let them finish outside. so that way they won't out grow their hide-out!
-shakeheadshake Reviewed by headshake on . Starting outdoors but finishing inside? I've got some seedlings on the go now. I plan to keep them outdoors until they are about 3ft tall or just to hard to hide in my vege garden. I was going to put them onto cfls when I bring them inside. Should I expect any problems with the transition from natural light to cfls, or will the plants just adapt? Rating: 5
