    One finger leafs

I have two clone hash plants that are getting one finger and three fingers on the leaves after 2-3 months indoor growing. Bottom half of both plants are fine with 5 fingers. What is causing this....is this bad?

    some strains do this automatically.

however, most of the time happens when a plant is reverting to veg after having the flower hormones triggered.

did the lights not come on one day on time, or was the plant stressed in some other way?

I'd think stress is likely the culprit. Either the soil is the wrong kind, or using the wrong nutes or additives, or too hot, too humid, soil too wet, salt build-up, too much of something, not enough of another, lights too close, lights too far away, wrong light spectrum...or none or all of the above.

You'll need to copy-n-paste the troubleshooting form here, and answer as many of the applicable questions as you can. The more info you provide, the better.

After reveg, my ladies will throw-out single finger leaves for a week or two, but once they recover from the stress of switching from 12/12 to 18/6, and the root trim, and downsizing their pot...normal vegetative growth continues. I call it the WTF phase. (the plant saying "what the f just happened...?")

It's not really normal for clones, though.
If you fill out the troubleshooting form, I'm sure we can narrow the focus.

This is a clone that I put under 12 hour lighting for 3 weeks and reverted back.

I usually get it with clones if I've taken them more than 12-14 days into flowering. Usually cuz I forgot to take them earlier *blush*

Will it go back to normal after a few weeks and start growing 5 finger leaves again?

I had single-petaled leaves once, was light-stress from a timer gone wild :wtf: ... mine grew out of it, and developed normally, after awhile ... :smokin:
