Ban On Same sex Marriage !!
i understand jagged. and i agree. i would assume (you know what that leads to) that gay's wouldn't want straights doing the same types of things out in public or at parades to celebrate our straightness.
good conversation though!

Ban On Same sex Marriage !!
I am all for gay marriage, and i say that as a straight male. The way I see it is that over the past 3000 years marriage has been redefined so many times and its just a matter of time before it is extended to gays. This is a very taboo subject and I dont see the government telling homosexuals that they can't get married any different than anti-miscegenation laws that prohibited interracial marriages in the 1800's- early 1900's.

Ban On Same sex Marriage !!
I am all for gay marriage. i have been a lesbian for as along as i can remember. its hard growing up with people who dont accept you and once you have passed all those barriers you come to realize that most your country and the world doesn't accept you. We dont wake up one day and ask to be gay we just simply are. I understand what your saying jagged and i agree i think the gays in san fran are making it worse with them parading around the way they do. I personally have never been to a gay parade in san fran but i have gone in La and Long Beach and it is nothing like that. I dont think the parades have been that way for along time now.. Well the ones iv been to..
pro marriage for gays..

Ban On Same sex Marriage !!
My partner and I have been together for 9 years. I'm lucky enough to live in a state that while they don't allow same sex marriage, they do allow domestic partnership.
As far as the flamboyant folks, what about the flamboyant straights? Cheerleaders anyone? There is enough T and A shown at sporting events to make a person dizzy! And what about all the sex straights have in advertising, tv shows, movies etc? Flamboyancy is NOT restricted to the gay world.
Public displays of affection? Well mild doesn't bother me, but overt, groping, doing the nasty in public makes me ill no matter if it's gay or straight.
Straights claim they don't need a parade to show their pride...EXACTLY! They don't need a parade because they are allowed, without fear of anything happening to them, to be straight in public.
Folks, you can't have it both ways. Either I'm a citizen with all the rights and responsibilities of a citizen ( not talking about those that have lost their rights due to being convicted of crimes and serving prison time) or I'm not a citizen and shouldn't have to pay taxes, vote, etc etc etc.
And being gay does not automatically mean you want to commit incest, poligamy or bestiality for fucks sake!
