    HELP I GOT QUESTIONS

    :rastasmoke:i am curently growin 3 plants in my closet
    i have 3 26w cfls
    they were outside for 5 days after birth
    how much light do i give them now:S5:

    However much you want, compared to the sun your inside lights aren't going to be too powerful.

    I would get some more CFLs. I have 3 CFls on one plant plus two t-8 grow lights and I still wish I had more. It is somewhat personal preference though. Usually the more light the better as long as its not too hot and you aren't burning your plants.

    I was thinking about getting two 105W cfl's four 23-26W cfl's and two-four 30 or 40W cfl's just for a couple of plants the more the light the better

    you want as many lumens AND coverage as you can get. what size is your closet?

    you also want to be in the right color temperature. you want 6500K (kelvin) for veg and 2700K for flower. a little mix is actually best.

    check out my grows. i use cardboard boxes and CFLs. i get good results with 4x 26W bulbs. but that is in a box with correct temperature, ventalation etc. and see nice results.

    especially check out the beginning of the second grow.

    Quick math says that's about 360-400+ watts actual. Here's a pic from a grow-guide, 375W of CFL's...

    sorry, not trying to thread jack sticky, but bigtopp, what exactly happened to the fan leaves near the top cola? my plants do the exact same thing. or just check out my plants problem thread. thanks.
