I dont know what the trics look like but if hes happy with it cool.Patience is hard when you have that sitting in front of you, the toaster is a crazy way to dry but hey again to each his own.I think hooch is planning on drying and curing he just needed a little sample and we have all been there!I am no expert just play one on tv. peace
