I would be honest with them and tell them you don't know. As they get older, educate them on both sides of the issue and let them decide. I wouldn't take them to organized churchs. If they seem interested read the bible with them so you can explain some of the stuff to them. And when they're young I think I would skip over some of the nastier books in the old testement.
