I was on a flight next to a Marine a few years back who was coming home after serving with the first division that charged into Bahgdad. He was telling me about the dust storms, too. I guess the one they experinced right before going in was about a 100 years storm. He had some Saddam Hussain currency he brought back with him, I guess they set up base in the palaces there. :jointsmile:
boaz Reviewed by boaz on . back from iraq hey guys, just got back from iraq today, well kuwait. i left iraq about a week ago for kuwait for warrior transition and the beginning of the de-mob process. got back to the US today, havent been here since september, its good to be back. iraq sucks. its hot, cold, dusty, rainy, lot of rocks, lots of mortars, rocket attacks and random gunfire.
