the "grassy" or "green" smell is chlorophil -- it evaporates during curing allowing the flavor to come through.

peak window for harves with highest THC, as I understand, is when the trichomes are mostly cloudy with 5-20% amber.

the amber trichomes are dead or dying. the clear trichomes aren't quite "ripe" yet.

unless I have new bud building on the upper colas, I harvest at about 20% amber.

THC converts to CBN(or D can't remember now) and this is the chemical that helps give you body stone. it is also the chemical that has been found to reduce tumors in breast cancer and other cancers!

some plant strains produce more CBN than others.
MdmPele Reviewed by MdmPele on . 1st Timer Please Help Ok - I know there are a ton of threads that cover this but i think my q is a little different. Im in question on when to harvest my plants - I already cut the tops but the rest of the plants are still there - everything Ive read or watched a video on says when to harvest by the trichomes. I have a microscope and look at the smoke I get from the dispensery and the trichs look frosty white - Now for the Q - does this frosty white happen on the plant while its growing, or does some of that Rating: 5
