autoflowering question-will putting them on 12/12 make any difference

Hi im just about to start some feminised white dwarf seeds and i was just wondering instead of having them 18/6 light period would it affect the end yield or plant if i put them in with my other plants on 12/12 cycle. Cant find much info. Anything will be gratefull:rastasmoke:

This is a link to pedro de pacas thread, you should ask him about the straight 12/12 cycle as he has experienced with it. I'm sure he'll lend a hand to help you out with some questions!! This thread is also him doing a 12/12 cycle from seedling

Hello! I'm growing 2 fem white dwarfs myself and so far so good. Check out my log in the Grow Log section. I think treating them like any other grow is a good idea. I'm starting them at 24/0, then going 20/4, 18/6 and the last 2-3 weeks at 12/12. Good luck and maybe post a log so we can compare our results .:hippy:

Growing auto flowers with 12/12 will work but you will get a smaler yield from them.

Which would be best for these strains then, 6500K Veg spectrum bulbs or the 4000 and lower FLower spectrum bulbs? Or maybe half and half?

I like to use a mix of both not quite 50/50 I tend to be heavier on the 6500k blue light.

true yes, but the op is askin if it would be detrimental to his af's under 12/12 with his normal flowering plants, which would result in a smaller yield

tossing them in the trash would be best so we don't pollute the gene pool and
loose all control. how would you like it if autofloweing seeds was all there was?
