FBR Nedd your guidence once again
FBR I posted the following thread about 18 months ago: http://boards.cannabis.com/drug-test...r-subbing.html
you gave me some solid advice. i passed the test by subbing...here is my new dilemma. i did such a good job as a contractor they offered me a direct position. i would not have considered the offer if it were not for the economy. contractors and leased personnel are the first to go and by accepting the offer i loose overtime but gain security. my background cleared today and i scheduled the physical for next tuesday. this time i am not going to facility. this place does their own physical. hearing, eyes, a duck walk and a piss test for office personnel. i originally thought i would get a finger waive and my balls tickled but i have confirmed that for my job this will not be done. i do have to fill out a whole boat load of forms and on these forms they ask if you have any operations. i have for the infection on my spinal cord. they also ask what medications you have taken in the last 60 days. i take methadone daily...Valium occasionally. my doctor laughs at me for worrying about this but i talked to the labor board and a agency who enforces the Americans with disability act a subset of the dept of justice. they could not direct me but said i had a good understanding of my rights. the thing is when you say u have a back operation and although i have a prescription questions will be asked. i talked with an attorney who specializes with workers comp and he told me not to depend on the ada...but to be honest.
questions:
should i put my medical history and medications but sub. i feel confident that subbing would be no different here than lab corp or should i use my own urine?spreadhead Reviewed by spreadhead on . Congratulations on your past success.
I'm confused as to what the question is, are you worried about confidentiality and telling them what you have taken in the last 60 days and you don't want them to know about your prescriptions or are you worried about having 2 valid control prescriptions that aren't going to show up in your substituted urine or both.

This can be a bit risky where they expect you to show positive for some drugs but not others. If it was me I would sub with synthetic and if they ask why you didn't show positive for the other drugs just say because you haven't been hurting as much so you haven't been taking your prescriptions daily. The prescriptions get cleared out of your system in 3 days.

FBR Nedd your guidence once again
i was a heroine addict 7 years ago. i got a bacteria infection that may or may have not been caused from using needles. this infection paralyzed me. after an extended stay in the hospital and a long time of physical therapy i walked again after being told i would not. during the rehab it was discovered that i had uncontrollable muscle spasms in the legs. it was found that pain mangement with narcotic medicine quelled the spasms.
after going through oxycotin, morphine patch percaset...tons of muscle relaxers i requested methadone because i had been through a clinic and i researched the long term effects and felt more comfortable taking it. the doc agreed and it works great.
the physical is done on site but the urine is sent to lab corp.
the medical forms has a question asking what drugs have you taken in the last 60 days. i was going to put down everything i take...including Valium and methadone. they also ask what operations have you had. you are interviewed by a doctor who is going to ask questions on the verge of crossing over into a Grey area of the ADA. i was thinking the doc could put 1 and 1 together..bacteria infection...methadone
i thought of telling interviewing doc that i do take it but have taken it or any other medication in the last 3 to 4 days. then subbing..that way i would avoid the MRO's questions and any delays it might cause.
FBR would you recommend this approach?
where should i draw the line with the interviewing docs questions?
quite simply what would you say? how much can the doc ask?
i suspect that he will ask for my doctors report of my condition. hopefully he will not ask for my hospital records becase this is how it starts off;"a 34 year old heroine addict enterd the emergency room"
FBR am i worried about nothing. yes i have legal prescripts but i have a guilty conscience because of my past?
would you sub to keep questions from mro?

your response Sec will determine what i do:
put the operation and the medication down truthfully.
and add to the questioning period that i have not taken either methadone or valium in 4 days.
the urinalysis is done by lab corp and the paperwork for Northrup does not go with the the bag it tag it and take to the butcher at the store sample that goes to lab corp. i get no call from the mro and any "extra" paper work that needs to be filled out by my doctor would cover my injury and the prescription...what do u think FBR?...anyone else want to weigh in?
please advise

I think I misunderstood your initial post. If this is purely for a job promotion then by all means sub with synthetic urine if you think you have a chance of being positive for cannabis. Everything else is prescriptions, so when the MRO calls just give him your pharmascists phone number and he'll varify. The employer can not be told about legal prescriptions. Thats why there's an MRO.

Then just sub with synthetic urine. Easy to keep the temp right with a little practice.
