Mahalo nui.
Been fun!

And since you asked;

"where did I go wrong weezie?"

Short answer?
You didn't "go wrong".
You played a beautiful positional/material, game.

I played this one for "temporal advantage".

Gave you a pawn to negate the "first move advantage"
Then traded a piece that had been moved once, for a piece of equal value, except it had been moved more than once.

That gave me a one move advantage time wise.
You actually played very well, you just ran short of time in the end game.
You had superior position, just not enough time to exploit that fact.

I usually play my first game that way.
(Even masters fall prey to an unexpected tempo game.:upsidedow)

I do not really play to win.
I jus' play for the patterns, the webs of force, the beauty of the game.
It is nusic to me.

Prolly lose mo' dan half my games when the "right move" is less esthetically pleasing to me than the "wrong move".

Not in it for trophies.
In it for the "dance".

I see Slevinkal standin in da wings.
How 'bout, you an' him play?
Jus' lemme watch an' kibbitz.

Den, I'll play da winner, or da most willing, ainokea.:rastasmoke:
