Now, you have a problem that will tie up your strongest rook.
And take pressure off the center of the board.

That rook covered 9 squares, now just 5, or 6 if you count the protected pawn.
Your other rook is severely limited.
Your Knight covers 3 squares and your bishop, 5.

It was a decent attack.
Just needed a little more pre-launch set-up.
It's a good stratagy to plan your attacks for possible failure.
That is, plan it so failure will leave you in a better position than ya started with.
Sometimes, what appears to be an attack, is actually sneaky positioning for the real attack, ya?.
