Then do a quick icewater rinse to float out da hairs.
(Got three dogs an a cat)
Though you could prolly use ice water to float the trich stalks and cystoliths off as a last step before pressing.I might consider that, it could have a calming effect on the harshness of the smoke. Sorta a water cure.
That it does.
Gets rid of house dust too.
Lotsa crap sticks to da goo.
Also rinses out water soluables like bug poo.I don't have "bug poo" in either of my grows. I grow indoors and believe in good hygiene.
Not a fan of bug poo, but now that I grow outside, I get aphid "honeydew" and gecko pee as well.
Comes with..
Have to rinse and dry before I trim da buds.
But, sunlight got no greedy meter, yah.
And indoors, Argh! Got problems.
I'm getting whitefly poo all over my indoor veg. girls lately.
Friend gifted me some "trojan clones"
Drat!
Outside, they have natural predators and wind.
Inside, they laugh at nopeststrips.
Threw a big fan at 'em and I herd them toward the exhaust fan when I'm in there.
Got the soil surface covered too, but they just keep breedin.
And I try to avoid any kine spray, so., what to do?
You have any wisdom 'bout dem buggahs?
Da tiny kine, but almost definitely white fly

"Some of those caps are water clear. They from the bottoms of the leaves, and they drop off first. Since playing with the eyeclops I've realized that the trichs from the bottom of the leaves are longer and usually bent so they break off easier.
"
Aha!
Makes sense.
I usually find the tiny clear caps in da bottom sieve.
They make a very blonde, almost white, hash.
I assumed it was a higher grade sifting. Woohoo!
Hence my disapointment.
The high was "thin", short lasting, and lacked "character" .
I think I just learned why. Mahalo nui!
Now I'm wondering if my shiny mulch will reflect enough light to cloud the shaded caps up some.
The clear ones are un-affected by UVb.
Least, as far as I can see.
Once they are ripe, it no take long.
Dey brown right up, then Cheech yer Chong.:stoned:
OK. Gettin' too ripped to post now.
