If I don't take that, you can have it for free.

Seems like I'm initiating a lot of transactions here.

Hope I'm not mixing it up too early. I know this phase is supposed to be about development, not conquest. Are early pawn exchanges like this customary, or is this chess-noob bull-in-chinashop stuff on my part?

    Yeeha!
Put da sheep's hind legs in your boots and try to shove it off a cliff,
    It pushes back, of course.

    QB - K3

    You've been reading.
Actually, I reviewed the openings of our first 2 games.
    Pretty hard to follow, though.

The pieces were giving me lotsa problems. A sneeze would flatten everybody.
Weighted the bases: lead bullet noses, cheap Kester solder (humpf), sinkers, etc. followed by leftover epoxy, bathtub caulk, hot glue, whatever...used stuff up. De-burred and trued up the bases, too. HUGE difference. Can audition moves without knocking over 6 innocent pieces. Has the luxurious feel of a hand-crafted set. :lol5:

For the first time in my life, those human chess games made a little sense. :tin foil hat:
