That sidestep-fiancetto move left me in constipated field position in a previous game. I just wanted to try to run this opening, which is the old King's India Attack, verbatim, according to the wiki article.

Looks dicey to me, too. Just wanted to see how it develops. Running an experiment where I hope to be surprised at the outcome (which is the way to experiment :thumbsup.

My next move would be kingside castle, and then it's ad lib from there. Mind if we try it? White may have to resign early, I realize.... From an analysis standpoint (which I'm not qualified to take) it seems like castling might better be done later, and more resources devoted to developing control positions at this early stage. Also seems like this fiancetto is intended more to simply permit the castle, rather than set up an effective diagonal threat.

I say, make a grab for that soap. Anybody with feet that small probably isn't equipped to do much damage.

So, o-o, if yer willing. :hippy:
