Calling out to DreadedHermie for a game of "stoner chess"

Hey, nice tutorial on hashmaking. All except the walking part. Too much like work. I jes' put it in my front trouser pocket and underwrite lap dances until everything reaches the proper consistency. Costs a bit, I know, but the economy has really taken a toll on those kids...

    P - KB4

I love bringing that knight out soon, but this looks interesting. Not particularly strong, but interesting...

    Best move!

    I'll answer with;

    P - Q3

    A quiet move.

    Too quiet.

    The book says;
    Develop a piece.

    Yet, I short-move a pawn.
You might want to think about that.

BTY, that was good advice, to beef.

There's a fellow, (I think), ovah on IC that I asked to open a DIY thread for his ledengin build.
He asked us for help in "LEDGIRL's thread."
(Hey, he bought it, it's his. )
No need a weatherman to forcast that future, yah?
So I told him to open a new thread, and I'd drop by to kibitz.

    He did just that.
It's refreshing to note, that he slogged through all our posts first, before asking for assistance.

And then did so with some grace. (Hence the "I think").
    Seems bright and sincere
I told him that Giblet might drop by to translate da pidgin to high wit, with any luck.

    You up for it?

    Weeze

Well, I finally found the thread you mentioned. Sure, I'll jump in. Little late now, gotta git...

    What was this about?
I posted a rather lengthy reply to that question in Apollonia's thread on c.dot.
They no want you posting links or hijackin' threads here, but if you search for it...

In truth, I'm kinda hesitant about posting anything here lately.
    Ya know what I mean?
Ya know, L.gurl is a mod/advertiser on another board, also. (Grnpassn) Same tactics there. I remember when the "civil-disobedience-for-lunch-bunch" would have rejected all this hype/marketing B.S. as "establishment." :hippy: Obviously, our willingness as a society to be fed propaganda has blossomed to match our reluctance to conduct any kind of experimentation with proper controls.

Lemme study your sneaky little chess move and see what this may transpose into. Once the first few moves are over I just play it by ear, but I like to study the openings. It's like learning a new piece on an instrument that you already know how to play.

I was tempted to do B - QB4 on my last move just to feel how that plays out, but I just didn't like the "feel" of it. Looks like another cueball scratch.

    What was this about?

That, was all about what happens when an abrasive, Paying advertiser is given mod rights.
A good post, takes time and effort.

"spend all me life raisin' children? Just to feed lions? Not me!"

    True dat!
And then there's the $$$$$$$$$$ factor.
These boards cost to run. So...

I almost got seduced by the carrot of a free light meself.
Though I tell myself it was curiosity.
    Then I came to.
"No man should make himself a dog for want of a bone." Yah?

Nominated Sleepy for the test grow and will satisfy my curiosity by watching his results.

Guess I'm too lazy to corrupt.

Good instincts. There are better moves than that.

I gave up tempo for a pawn.
Hmmm what made that pawn worth taking?
    Look to your vulnerabilities.

You dismantled you king's side castle early-on, so I can start gearing up to dismantle your queen's side now.
Then, it's head to head in the center. Whee!
This is already a non-standard opening so, should be very interesting.

    Aloha,

Hey, curiousity works for me. (Gutshots woulda been interesting, kef, kef...) I just noticed a pic of the light that shows the emitters in small groups, exactly aligned with the 6 cooling fans. The best reason I can think of to do dat is to compensate for inadequate heatsinking. You a bettin' man?

I realize it's not ideal to castle with a pawn or two missing. But might it be still be worthwhile to castle kingside, considering where it puts that rook? I guess I need to consider the pawn's defensive capabilities. (I got all swept up in having discovered promotions and pawn chains.) Looks like you think I've blown a hole in the side of my castle already...

P.S. Is there a quick to suppress the signatures?

    Hmmm, Mod U lar, yah?
.Makes 'em easy to scale is my guess.

Easy, when I remember, jus' scroll down, and un-check "show your signature".
I think it's your move, no?

    Now... B - QB4.

Hey, can you check the thread I just answered? New poster apparently burned off his fan leaves with neem oil followed by high heat. Filled out the form, everything looks kosher. Prognosis?

    Looked at it.
    Pretty sure it's the neem/dawn.
Nasty stuff, Dawn, dehydrates the leaves.
But, that wouldn't be new information, yah?
Be more like rubbing it in.
Can't suggest a fix, either, those leaves are gone.

    Prognosis?

I'd let it ride while re-stocking my clones and hope for mercy.

He's already learned something 'bout pest control.
Less is more. and Know thy enemy.

    B - KN5
    I finally moved a piece.
    But, orthodox, it ain't.
