New help needed

I'm new and need a little help.

Ok I bought a quarter of compressed (brick) weed. I put it in a glass jar and am just leaving in on my desk. (Not in a fridge will lower THC levels ...i know)

My question is.... I looked at it today and saw that there are little white hairs growing off it now in a couple of different places.... What is that?

Temperature is always 28 degrees (in the carribean)

Sounds like mold but it's hard to tell without a picture. If it is mold, it is highly suggested that YOU DO NOT SMOKE IT, because you can get a very nasty respiratory infection that could very well kill you. Sorry man. At least it was real bud, though...
