    Some basic questions

I'm germinating some seeds (Northern Lights 5 x Haze) tonight which will be growing inside a CFL box for about a month and then they're going outside for the rest of the grow. I'm using 6 CFLs (3 warm, 3 cool) within a 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 2 feet box (not sure about wattage but they're the kind most often bought at grocery stores, cvs etc). How many cfm do I have to have going to properly cool this box? A couple things I should mention that the lights are fixed to the top and i'm going to stack objects underneath the pots to bring them closer. Also, the box is made of sheetrock.

The other question that I have is that I ordered seed starter plugs from htgsupply and I'm wondering what the proper procedure is to use them. Also, once the seed has germinated in the towels and I put them into the plugs do I leave it in the dark till it sprouts or just put it directly into the grow box?

use the towel method for germination, after they sprout the root, then put them under lights, not strong light but t5 or cfl etc. keep them moist and keep the medium at about 80 deg. faren. keep humidity high, or use a dome.
If germanation problems persist, try soaking the seeds in water with a proper ph. then trsfer to towels. do not put the seed in the medium before the root comes out, or you will be waiting for a natual germination, which could be a very long time or never.

after they sprout the root in germination, and you have transfered the seed and root to the medium, it s important to keep them dark at that point, the root that is, keep it in a medium that light can not penatrate. but keep light on the surface.

Probably a couple computer fans will do the job, or one of those kitchen/bathroom exhaust fans will definitely do the job... but it's hard to say without knowing the actual wattage. I'm assuming they are small ones. Then you could have another computer fan as an active intake, or just a passive intake. It's something you'll figure out as you go...

I don't know anything about the plugs, I just put them into damp soil once they sprout, and leave the lights off until they surface. Doesn't matter if the light is on before they are above ground, but it could dry out the soil.
