Hi I'm a newbie but what kind of lights are you using just regular 100w light bulbs that you'd have in your living room??? If your starting off small and cant get the best of lights I would still go ahead and get some CFL's or compact florescent lights. You can buy those almost anywhere. They are those energy saver bulbs if you dont know. Get a few, that are like 42w, that would equal 150w of a regular lighbulb. Secondly take this from a noobie who has made the mistake before planting only 2 seeds is kinda waiting for a grim outcome lol What if both of those are males? or die after a month. That's all that work down the drain and you have to start over. If it's possible plant more seeds then that. That way you have a better chance for a female beauty growing. Just my 2 cents on everything if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me, but it seems like you need to do some reading and learning. look around on these boards you'll learn alot.. I actually do learn something new everyday on here.. Hope I helped a lil LateRssss

hey yeah they are the 100watt energy savers very bright.
and yeah i brought a 150watt halogen bulb but it gets too hot in the plastic holder so i have to turn it off and swop back, the seeds cost 5 feminized seeds for 35 pounds from a shop near mine so hopefully they will work.
could you help me out with the heat that shoud be ok to grow them with thanks.

Yea well again I've read it a million places before but i think you have to keep the temp around 70's-80's you dont want it get get much hotter then that my plant is in a controlled temp apartment that never gets below 71 degrees for the plants sake. My cfl's are only a few inches from the plant tops because cfl's dont really produce heat I also had the 23w or 100w cfls. They never really put off any heat for me to the point where the plants can actually touch the light and nothing happens so I dont know what to say about that. I'm not an expert in anway so I really hope I can help as much as possible. You shouldn't really need it for two 23w cfls but do you have a small fan for the heat? It'll provide some circulation and heat reliefe for your plants..
p.s. 150 watt halogen is not a 150w cfl. Halogens do get very hot cfls dont. When you goto the store or look online to buy it, it would be a 42w cfl.. that equals 150w:thumbsup:
