edit: actually, i don;t really know what the filter hookups are like... it would be best to have the fan after the filter if possible... easier to pull air through things than it is to push


another edit: i sould also say, that it is imperative that the length and diameter of the ducting between the HPS hoods and the Y-adapter be exactly the same, or as close to the same as possible on both sides of the Y.

Otherwise the fan will favor one of the hoods and pull more through whichever one is easier for it and the other hood will suffer slightly.
