What can I tell you, I figured my lovelys would love the extra boost from the new light. So, I switched out 300watts worth of CFL's for a 150watt HPS. I did this at about 4 weeks into flowering...the tips were already starting to turn red and I was well on my way to harvest. I should also add that my timer and the daylight savings time change that happened recently caused my plants to get their daily dose of light to be off by an hour.

Ok, so what happened is that all the red tips are now gone and every single one of them is white white white. On Monday up-coming, they will have been flowering 10 weeks and if I hadn't switched the lights I would most likely have harvested them 15 days ago or so.

Do I keep them going until the red tips re-appear again or do I just harvest now? I figure that the light change combined with the lights being adjusted by an hour each day caused my plants to get confused and revert back if only temporarily to veg stage...I dunno?

What would a grow master do?
