Cfl help.
Okay so i am thinking about getting a couple 105 watt cfl's. But was also wondering if it would be better to get 2 smaller ones for every 105 cfl.? And also where would be a decent place to get clamp lights for them. As i wanna make sure to have a clamp light that will support the incar. watts.? Or is there a better way to do this.
Thanx...

Cfl help.
Okay i have read this in a post somewhere and wanna know if it is true.
"And forget whatever incandescent equivalent these things are advertised as - you know "120 watt replacement, only consumes 32 watt" that means absolutely nothing. Actually it means LESS than nothing because it causes a whole lot of confusion - what they are really saying is "32 watt bulb that produces the same amount of light as a really really horribly inefficient and crude design would if it were sucking down 120 watts" Incandescent bulbs aren't even in the discussion, so don't let them fool you by using incandescent equivalent. An incandescent bulb uses that much juice because it pumps out more heat than light - we don't care how much power an incandescent bulb would have used in producing heat - we don't want heat, we want light."
So i mean a 105w cfl i can put in sumthing with like 150w max, or i can put 2 in a 300w max? Just wanna get the right info this cause i do not know much about cfl's.? :wtf:

my 2 cents: 23W-26W bulbs seem to have the best light:heat ratio. any smaller and its too little light. much bigger and its too much heat. i'm not saying that you can't use these successfully (42W seems to work well for some people), but in my experience, 23-26W are nice.

23/26watters have the best w/lumens ration. Then comes the 40-42w.
Got 12 23-26w and 4 40-42w on one plant and it's growing wild!
Around 400w total and almost 30 000 lumens!
