My husband and I have just started to harvest our second grow. To us, still being newbies, it is so exciting to grow our own. I love that we did this all ourselves! Although our growing room is still quite primitive, we ended up with some really nice medicine. We have 2- 1000w hps and a 18x14 room. We split the room so we'd have a dark side, and put a "bloom" light in the flowering side. A friend gave us a bag of random seeds and we went to town. We've learned so far, the huge difference between growing from a seed or a clone. Since it was just a random bag of seeds, we don't know what types we have. One smells very fruity whereas another one smells skunky. Another one is purely dark green but the buds are purple. One of the plants actually split into two plants. We are now just trying to decide when to harvest the rest of them as we are still learning. The hairs are turning red and the crystals are milky. I don't want to be a couch zombie, so hopefully we won't be waiting too long! So there, I finally post something and it's a darn book. I have pictures too. We will post them tonight after work. We've planted new seeds now. They are ty/skunk. Along with clones from the rest, we're just trying to keep below our limit here in our state. I find it very difficult to "get rid" of perfectly good starts. Ha! Thanks; Kitty
